Awards for U.S. Students

  • DARPA Student Grant Opportunity: NGC2007 Organizers are offering fourteen competitive scholarships to qualified non-ASU graduate students who wish to attend and present at the conference courtesy of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. Selected applicants will receive a total of $700: $200 will pay for registration and $500 will be received upon arrival at the conference to cover part of the travel costs.
     

  • Eligibility Requirements: U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required. Applicants must be graduate students working in a related scientific and/or engineering field at the time of the conference. Only students studying in the U.S. may participate. Minorities are strongly encouraged to apply.
     
  • Application Procedure: All applicants are required to register (conference fee payment is not required at the registration) and submit an abstract at the conference web site by following the directions provided. Please indicate Student Grant Applicant when registering and submitting your abstract through the conference website. The deadline for applications is January 12, 2006 but an earlier application is encouraged. A completed application form, letter of recommendation from the advisor and copy of the submitted abstract must be mailed to the following address or faxed by the submission deadline:
